Hey Team!

I hope everyone has been having a great summer. This will be our first meeting since taking some time off for some summer fun.

Work has continued behind the scenes and we have been making presentations and adding Sacramento organizations to our VERG group (public and private).

At our August meeting we will reconvene to finalize our new charter and continue setting goals for the remainder of the calendar year. We will also talk about items on the calendar of interest to our Vet groups.

Finally, we will need to make decisions on the entity type for our group (i.e. 501c3, etc.). This important decision will impact how we move forward. Can't wait to get all of your input. This group is to benefit you and your organizations and the Vets you employ. Let's position ourselves so that we can have a positive lasting impact on the well being of the Vets living and working in our region.
